Empowering Residents and Community

As most of your readers know, Ted Kennedy, Jr., has decided to retire as our state senator. I’ve enjoyed working with Ted and wish him well in his future pursuits. I’m delighted that a new young shoreline native has decided to run this Nov. 6.

Adam Greenberg, a Guilford native, will certainly make a great partner as we continue to be the voice of our district. Too often, elected state officials forget the importance of bringing our small-town values and voice to Hartford. Adam, a former Major League Baseball player, is a breath of fresh air and with his work ethic and can-do attitude will be perfect for the 12th Senate District. Adam advocates for empowering our residents and our community to be the best it can be.

In this divisive political climate, it’s great to have a chance to work with someone who is so non-partisan in everything he does. He and his wife are the parents of two young sons and live in Branford. He’s a small business owner and a motivational speaker. His young life has been remarkable and he brings that spirit to everything he does. I hope your readers will all have a chance to meet him. I’m proud to vote for Adam Greenberg for our next senator.
