Clear, Concise, and Focused

I had a chance this summer to meet Adam Greenberg, who is running for the State Senate seat being vacated by Ted Kennedy, Jr. What a breath of fresh air he is! I’ve heard him speak a couple times, and he is clear, concise, and focused. He is convinced that the state government has failed the taxpayers and families of Connecticut. He emphasizes that the elected officials are out of touch, not realizing how much the taxes, regulations, and floundering education system are hurting us, driving companies and taxpayers out of state.

His motivation and drive led him to Major League Baseball, but a bad pitch, hitting him in the head, quickly ended his career there. After two years of recovery and therapy, he rebounded. He is a sought-after motivational speaker and runs his own national health food company, with employees across the country. He has also authored a motivational book, Get Up—the Story of Perseverance, about overcoming life’s obstacles.

What an inspiration for our youth today (and for those of us who may have slipped beyond our youth). He’s upbeat, he’s a great family man, and he’s a hard worker.

We need him in the State Senate!
