Budget-Serious and Hard-Working

As a Democrat who voted for Devin Carney for the two terms he has been in office as our 23rd District representative, I have carefully followed his record of voting and hard work. He has voted for issues I care about such as pay equity, environmental preservation, and funding senior services. Devin has also been a champion for our veterans and he co-sponsored an act to improve their access to healthcare.

As a former educator, I am particularly impressed with his focus on quality public education and ensuring that our curricula are comprehensive and that school safety is always being improved. He takes time to visit our schools and always meets with students when they come to the Capitol.

As a permanent resident of Connecticut, it is especially important for me, and for all of us—Republicans, Democrats, and independents—to re-elect budget-serious and hard-working legislators. Devin stays fiscally conservative without sacrificing those initiatives that are important for the citizens of his district. He serves with dignity, integrity, and a passion for making a difference in Connecticut.
