Reverse this Trend

As a New Haven County Realtor, I am reminded daily of the many homes that go unsold for lack of prospective buyers. Potential home buyers require good quality stable jobs, but sadly, many of these buyers have left and continue to leave Connecticut in droves to become taxpayers elsewhere. If Connecticut is to recover from the downward spiral it’s in, we need to reverse this trend by creating meaningful jobs at all levels of the socio-economic strata.

Without the creation of jobs to support the absorption of Connecticut’s valuable real estate inventory, Connecticut will continue to falter. In response to this crisis, State Representative Dave Yaccarino (R-87) has championed bringing high-tech science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) jobs to Connecticut such as biotech.

Only the job creating efforts like those championed by Mr. Yaccarino will turn the moving vans around and help to bring Connecticut back to a place where residents want to live and work.

I will continue to support Mr. Yaccarino in his efforts.
