Serving our Town

On July 5, I had the misfortune of getting a flat tire on my way from town. Suddenly realizing I hadn’t taken my phone when changing purses, I started looking around this quiet street to see who I might ask to make a call to my husband. Having no luck, I went back to the car, wondering what to do next.

Very soon a truck appeared coming toward me. I bravely flagged it down and to my great joy discovered it to be a Town of Clinton Department of Public Works truck. I asked the two men if they could make a call for me and they replied they would not make a call, but would change the tire.

Another reason why I love my town of Clinton. These two gentlemen (Bob Vogt and coworker, Jim, I hope I got their names right) were so wonderful!

We are so proud to have men like them serving our town and citizens.
