Giving Both Time and Talents

I want to share with your readers a remarkable and extraordinarily community minded family in our midst. For well over 20 years, the Old Saybrook/Westbrook Exchange Club has presented a wine tasting fundraiser to benefit local causes. Our most recent event was held earlier this month and all the profits will be passed on to the Youth & Family Services agencies in Old Saybrook and Westbrook.

The Cordial Shoppe in Old Saybrook has been our sponsor every step of the way. The Revenikas family devotes amazing energy to this annual happening. Because of them and the vendors they corral to provide the products, our service club has been able to provide more than $70,000 to a variety of worthy projects in our towns. Nick and Chris lead the way with their ongoing commitment and now have passed it down to the next generation. Additionally, they instill in all their employers the spirit of giving both time and talents.

We salute this incredible team and gratefully acknowledge its devotion to the good work being done by so many in our beautiful towns.
