How Cruel That Is

I found the press release from the East Haven Police Department very upsetting [May 24, “East Haven Woman Arrested for Animal Cruelty”]. The poor dog was mistreated so badly that the owner had to be charged with animal cruelty. Thank God Samson is now in a good home. My reason for writing is to ask the question: Why do people bring an animal into their life if they don’t love animals? How cruel that is for these poor, innocent animals. It is all over and I just wish people would think before they take an animal into their home.

God fearing people listen to God. They know the day is coming when we will all be judged by God. In the Bible it says “the righteous one takes care of his domestic animals. But even the mercy of the wicked is cruel.”

Maybe if people knew how God feels about mistreating his creation, they would not do it.
