Creating a Business-Friendly Atmosphere

The opening of the new downtown brewery, Little House Brewing Company, came from an idea of a local resident, Carlisle Schaeffer, and his college friend Sam Wagner. The support to get Little House Brewing Company open in Chester came from the Planning & Zoning and Economic Development commissions, the Water Pollution Control Authority, the fire marshal, and other town entities. This illustrates that when boards and commissions work together, creating a business-friendly atmosphere, it benefits the town, its residents, and local businesses.
