I am really having a difficult time writing this letter. This situation seems so unfortunate. Many people say Guilford is a loving and caring community. Where is the love and care?

Poor Simon [a dog who has been impounded for biting a neighbor] has spent enough time in jail for a mistake a young man made entering Simon’s yard uninvited and scaring him.

This group of neighbors seem heartless to me. Are they friends of First Selectman Matt Hoey’s?

This should end now by sending Simon home where he belongs. Mr. Hoey can do this. He should stand up to the plate and free poor Simon!
