Symbols of our Freedom

Regarding the April 26 story “Small Cell Installation Project Coming to Guilford Green,” I am against better cellular coverage in or on the Guilford Green. First, let us not forget that our town greens are the symbols of our freedom. An adage states: If they are allowed to violate even a little finger of them, they are bound to take over the whole hand.

The town fathers of Hartford forgot this, and Hartford lost its beautiful green to corporate America.

Without elaborating about the many pros, cons, and marvels, no antenna ever belongs on our beautiful Town Green.
