05/09/2018 08:00 AMI thank and commend Zoning Commission Chair Robert Friedman for his work and clear presentation to the Zoning Commission of the proposed zoning overlay recently denied.
This proposal, as described in Harbor News, centered on the area around Exit 66 of I-95 and would have materially changed the complexion of Old Saybrook, opening this area and other parcels to intense development such as our citizens, for the most part, hope to avoid.
Much gratitude goes to Mr. Friedman and the Old Saybrook Zoning Commission!
