Stamp Out Hunger

Here’s a friendly reminder: The U.S. Postal carriers will be collecting non-perishable food items on Saturday, May 12. All food collected by the Stamp Out Hunger Postal Food Drive in East Haven will benefit the East Haven Food Pantry. I encourage your readers to consider making a donation—they may leave food out by their mail box even if they do not receive a reminder post card from your carrier.

Our pantry provided more than 9,000 meals to local residents in March alone. The need is there and we need everyone’s help.
