A Matter of Principle
I support the Clinton town and Board of Education (BOE) budgets as recommended by the boards of Selectmen, Finance, and Education. I encourage your readers to join me and vote “Yes” for both budgets on May 9.
It is a matter of principle that a community should educate and nurture its children and sustain the value of each other’s interests in our community. Rejecting budgets year after year is against your self-interest if your nest egg is the equity in your home.
For those who want to protect that nest egg and ensure that it is there for them when they retire, I strongly recommend that they support the town and BOE operating budgets at the referendum on May 9.
