Pruning is Essential

Have not the Madison townspeople learned their lesson yet? When are they going to wake up? Why are so many afraid to have a few trees cut down, or at least trimmed as recommended by Eversource?

Every time we have a massive storm, the power is lost in many areas because of fallen trees. Over the years, trees have fallen because of their age or condition regardless of a storm, also. I am a lover of trees—all trees, in fact—but I do realize that there comes a time when their condition and care needs to be addressed.

Pruning is essential if we are to maintain energized power lines. It is far more cost effective to maintain a something than it is to repair it. Isn’t sacrificing a few trees worth knowing that the chances of losing power is drastically minimized?
