Generosity and Continued Support

As we enter the new year and reflect on the past holiday seasons, I want to say how much I appreciate the parishioners of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina parish for their generosity and continued support to the people of East Haven. The East Haven Food Pantry gave out more than 250 Thanksgiving baskets. This could not have been possible without food donations and gift cards from the parish as well as food drives from various organizations.

At Christmas, the parish came together to serve 57 East Haven families and 80-plus children with Christmas gifts and gift cards, with additional gift cards donated where needed. This is in addition to our continued support to the Midnight Runs, cooking for the homeless shelters, and monthly donations to the Food Pantry. This could not have been possible without the support and encouragement from our pastor, Father Murasso.

Looking forward to what we can all accomplish together in 2018.
