On behalf of the River Valley Christmas Fair Committee, I would like to thank the following restaurants for their generous support of our annual Christmas craft fairs and first-ever passport program. Our passport program involved six local churches—The United Church of Chester; St. Joseph’s Church, Chester; First Congregational Church, Deep River; Winthrop Baptist Church, Deep River; Our Lady of Sorrows Church, Essex; and First Congregational Church, Essex—which collaborated to provide an optimal holiday fair shopping experience for area residents.

The program was very successful and we appreciate the generous donation from each of the following area restaurants: Pasta Vita of Old Saybrook, Grano Italian Eatery of Chester, The River Tavern of Chester, The Ivory Restaurant and Pub of Deep River, and Otto Pizza Restaurant of Chester.

Thanks go to each of these merchants and to the many patrons who visited each of the local fairs on December 2. We hope to see everyone next year!
