Heartfelt and Humble Thanks

I wish to extend my heartfelt and humble thanks to the voters and residents of Branford for putting their faith in me to become their next tax collector. To those who cast their votes for me, I pledge to do all that I can to perform my duties well, and in a manner that will live up to their belief in me. To those who didn’t cast their votes for me, I pledge to work hard to earn their trust and belief in me. I want to serve all of Branford’s residents respectfully, courteously, and to my utmost abilities. I will strive to uphold the standards and successful practices of the retiring tax collector, Joanne Cleary.

I thank Stanley Konesky, Jr., and Joanne Cleary for their belief in me from the very start.

I extend special thanks to the entire Branford Democratic Town Committee (DTC), the Nominating Committee, the Executive Board, DTC members, and fellow candidates whom I now call friends. It was my honor to be a member of Lynda Mollow and Jack Ahern’s ticket; I have learned so much from both of them. I also thank Mike Leone and Rob Blanchard for their patience and guidance.

I extend my love and appreciation to my two church families: the members of St. Stephen’s AME Zion Church and the members of Ebenezer Chapel. They lift me up, hold me down, and encourage me to move forward all at the right times. Prayer works!

I want my parents, husband, sons, and extended family and friends—better known as my “village”—to know that all I am is directly related to them. I promise to represent them well.

Now begins my work in service to the Town of Branford!
