Hats Are Off

The Madison Exchange Club conducted its 12th annual Golf Classic at the Fox Hopyard Golf Club in East Haddam this past month. The funds raised from a growing number of sponsors (awards, golf cart, putting contest, tee, raffle, and auction) with support from a full house of golfers competing for men, women, and mixed foursome awards, are directed toward the Exchange Club’s five Connecticut Child Abuse Prevention centers, as well as toward many Madison community service programs.

Though we’re most thankful for the continuing support of our sponsors, a fundraising event such as this cannot be successful without the cadre of volunteers who comprise the Madison Exchange Club, those same “community first” men and women who are responsible for bringing every year the Independence Day Parade and the Easter Egg Hunt to the Town of Madison. Our hats are off to all who participated: golfers, sponsors, and fellow Exchangites—thanks go to all!
