Showed True Service

As a fourth-generation Killingworth resident, I, along with my husband, made the choice to move to my hometown and start our family. One of the most important reasons is the great community here. I was raised to appreciate our small-town character and what people might call “Killingworth values,” where you give back to your community to make it the best town it can be. I am raising my children to ensure they embrace these same values, taking pride in their community and be active in it. That is why I am supporting Fred Dudek for the first selectman of Killingworth. He embodies Killingworth values.

I have known Fred for about 30 years now. We first met Fred when I was a child as his son is one of my oldest and dearest friends. I grew up watching Fred and his wife Linda demonstrate great leadership within this community. Through highs and lows, he showed what true service to this town really looks like. Fred’s countless hours with the Fire Department, Ambulance Association, Parmalee Farm, and serving on numerous town committees speak for themselves. Fred has never cared if there is an R or a D next to your name within the political sphere, it’s if you take pride in your community and want to see the best of it for years to come.

That’s what makes Fred an exceptional candidate for the job. Across party lines, he wants the best for our community, therefore I encourage everyone to get out and vote on Nov. 7 for Fred Dudek, who has always put Killingworth first.
