Quality, Exclusivity, and Service

In November 2013, Ed Tessman ran for a seat on the Clinton Board of Police Commissioners. Ed was successful in his bid and received 1,843 votes to earn a seat at the table. Over the last four years, Ed has been at that table representing me and representing your readers. Ed has never taken his role lightly. Ed respects the time of the Board of Police Commissioners and his charge. Ed has attended almost 90 percent of the scheduled meetings over the last four years, has always been on time, and has never left early. Ed has never been distracted by personal or family business in front of another board or commission, which could be easily perceived as a conflict of interest.

Ed knows that his role is not to micro-manage the chief or spend valuable time debating what color car the chief should be driving. Ed knows that his role is strategic. Ed has driven quality, exclusivity, and service while serving on the Board of Police Commissioners. The Clinton Police Department has changed significantly over the last four years and that is due to Ed’s involvement and his role.

My vote is for Ed Tessman and I hope that your readers will join me to keep Ed Tessman on the Board of Police Commissioners.
