Qualifications, Passion, and Commitment

I am running for the Board of Finance because of my experience having served on the Board of Selectman through the greatest economic downturn since the Depression. Collaborating with colleagues from both sides of the aisle and on multiple boards, together we were able to lead Guilford through those difficult and challenging times.

Familiar with the budgeting process and how a municipality is governed, I am confident in my abilities to lead Guilford once again as a member of the Board of Finance. The financial difficulties facing Guilford, from anticipated reduction in state aid, will require experience, thoughtfulness, and an ability to work with everyone, regardless of politics. I am certain that I have the qualifications, passion, and commitment to represent your readers on the Board of Finance. I can’t tell you how excited I am for this opportunity to represent residents once again and I promise if I am given the opportunity, I will work diligently for your readers, their families, and their loved ones and I humbly ask for their votes on Nov. 7 for myself, Matt Hoey, and the entire Democratic Slate.
