Lives to Serve

On Nov. 7, we will vote for the best, most qualified candidates to build Guilford’s future. There is one candidate who stands out to me: Veronica Wallace. She is a friend, mentor, and a great leader in Guilford and I am proud to support her for a position as a member of the Board of Finance.

Veronica is passionate about serving the town of Guilford, a town she has called home her whole life. She lives to serve this great town and that can be seen in her commitment to lead the 375th Anniversary committee in 2014 and her service on the Marina Commission for many years. Her experience as a dedicated member of the Board of Selectmen has prepared her with the knowledge and understanding of the needs of our residents and I trust her to make the best decisions for us and our town finances moving forward.

Last, she is always there for us. I know that if I need help with something, and I know this goes for many others she has helped as well, I can count on Veronica to listen, get answers, and offer a helping hand and even better, she gets results! She does this not for the credit or the votes, but because she truly loves Guilford and the people who live here that make this town great!

I encourage all my fellow neighbors and friends to vote for Veronica Wallace. She is my choice for Guilford’s future and, might I add, would be the only woman on the Board of Finance if elected—an important perspective we certainly need.
