Keep Costs Under Control

I encourage your readers to support Carol Rzasa and Kenneth Reid of Old Saybrook. Carol is a Republican incumbent on the Board of Finance and is seeking a new, two-year term. Carol is not only an outstanding member of the Board of Finance, but also active in her local church. She grew up in the Connecticut River Valley. She moved to California for corporate America and raised her family there. When she moved back to the East Coast, she chose Old Saybrook as her home. She brings with her the skills involving corporate health care and union negotiations, and has taken on extra assignments for the Board of Finance. She asks pivotal questions, which helps this community keep costs under control.

Kenneth Reid is a Republican candidate for the Police Commission. He is a life-long resident, attending school here as well as his two sons in Old Saybrook. He has more than 30 years experience in criminal justice, private security, and corporate security management. Ken believes in transparency with proper oversight of the administration of the Police Department and its functions. He feels that keeping the cost of a police department reasonable, for a town size of approximately 10,000 residents, requires regular review by the Police Commission.

Both Carol and Ken look forward to the open house of the new town building where the Police Department is located for which so many persons have expressed desire.

I encourage your readers to vote for Carol Rzasa for Board of Finance and Kenneth Reid for Police Commission.
