Integrity and Responsibility

Lou Annino has served on the Killingworth Board of Selectman for the past six years with the same integrity and sense of responsibility he brings to everything else he does. He served for 25 years on our Planning & Zoning Commission, working tirelessly to balance Killingworth’s rural character with sensible growth going forward.

As selectman, Lou has been deeply involved in the development of a 10-year strategic capital plan improving our town roads, municipal facilities, and future services. His training and work experience as a registered professional engineer is invaluable in such planning. He is currently associate vice-president and chief facilities officer for the University of New Haven with more than 20 years’ experience in facilities management, strategic planning, and change management.

Like many born and raised in Killingworth, Lou is a fiscal conservative, always looking to keep our taxes as low as possible while keeping our roads safe and our municipal services strong.

A respectful listener to the concerns of fellow citizens, he always exhibits the kind of civility that makes government work. Lou’s priority remains what it has always been: What can we do together that will ensure that Killingworth is the best rural town in Connecticut in which to live?

On Nov. 7, I encourage your readers to join me in voting for Lou Annino, Jr., for selectman on Row A.
