Good Decisions Every Day

I believe it is recognized by most people I know that Old Saybrook is one of the best-managed towns along the shoreline and in the state of Connecticut. As I see it, the choice is clear. First Selectman Carl Fortuna, Selectman Scott Giegerich, and Treasurer Bob Fish have the leadership and management skills to continue taking Old Saybrook in the right direction. I have had a long career in management working for a Fortune 500 company. We only wanted the best and the brightest working for us.

Over the past few years Carl and the team have implemented new hiring processes for several key positions that has produced top-notch hiring results in economic development, finance, and technology, to name a few. The operating and financial efficiency has improved notably with these changes. This is good for the town and good for the taxpayers. This is simply one aspect of Carl’s leadership and one that most of us don’t hear anything about.

Multiple good decisions are made every day by Carl and the team, and that is why Old Saybrook is a top town in Connecticut.

I encourage your readers to join me in supporting Carl Fortuna, Scott Giegerich, and Bob Fish on Nov. 7.
