Detail-Oriented and Enthusiastic

As a resident of Cornfield Point Beach in Old Saybrook for many years (during summers as a child and full time since 1991), I have known and worked with Carol Conklin when she was past president of the Cornfield Point Women’s Auxiliary. I served as secretary with her for two years and know her to be a well organized, detail-oriented, and enthusiastic leader who can get a job done and put new ideas into action.

Carol’s past retail and business experiences have helped our group with our merchandise sales, clubhouse renovation projects, and many summer planning activities. Carol understands and works with our summer budget and planning process. Her contributions have helped our community group continue to be pleasant and well-run organization. Our group is a part of the Cornfield Point Association Board and municipality.

On Nov. 7, I will be casting my vote for Carol Conklin for re-election to the Board of Selectmen and I encourage your readers to vote for her, as well.
