Demonstrated Knowledge and Leadership

Gwenne Celmer has served on the Killingworth Board of Finance for the past 12 years. I have been honored to serve with her for the past two years. During that time, I have been impressed by Gwenne’s historical knowledge of town budgets and her line-by-line command of our current budgets. Gwenne’s demonstrated knowledge and leadership will continue to serve the town well in view of the state’s inability to enact a budget and the tremendous uncertainty that will likely continue to flow out of our state government.

After the upcoming election and due to retirements from the Board of Finance, a majority of our members will have between zero and two years of experience on our board. Gwenne’s institutional knowledge in dealing with town departments and other stakeholders is needed more than ever.

I am pleased to recommend Gwenne Celmer to my fellow residents for re-election to the Killingworth Board of Finance.
