Clinton is at a critical juncture. Our lovely town is facing the prospect of a major loss of funding from the state, Route 1 has too many vacant businesses, and until now, commuting by rail has been limited by being single-platform. We are in need of clear-headed thinking and professionalism.

That is why I support Christine Goupil and the rest of the Democratic team. Christine’s extensive experience in project management means she knows how to get things done, and boy, do we need things to get done. She will work with all stakeholders, regardless of party, to enhance our attractiveness to developers to bring new businesses to town. As a mother of two young children, she understands the importance good schools have to a community.

Her running mates, Board of Selectmen candidates Jack Scherban and Tim Guerra, share Christine’s passion for good government, and will bring their experience on town boards and commissions to bear to begin the work of building prosperity in Clinton. That is why I will be voting Row A on Nov. 7.
