Always Involved

I have had the pleasure of knowing Tony Cozza for about 33 years and have been married to him for 31 so I think I am well equipped to tell you about the qualities he has brought to the Board of Finance. I am confident he will continue to bring these if he is re-elected.

It could be his engineering background, but he is the most thorough person I’ve ever known when it comes to doing a project. No matter how big or small the issue, he will research it completely, pay close attention to all details, and triple-check everything before considering the job done.

He is fiscally conservative and believes in the necessity of having a good solid budget and sticking to it. This has worked well on a personal level. He has brought these same traits to the boards and commissions he has served on in Westbrook the past 11 years as well.

Without a doubt, Tony is, and I say this without prejudice, totally honest and trustworthy. I feel this is reflected in his dealings with others in his position as a member of the Board of Finance. He will continue to bring credit to the board if voters re-elect him.

Finally, I just want to note that his interest in local affairs has been a constant from the time we met to the present. When we lived in Rocky Hill for 16 years, he was always involved in civic matters such as coaching kids’ sports, mentoring at schools, and following the workings of the local government and issues. He has shown a continuation of this commitment here in Westbrook.
