Act Only After Investigating

I am a write-in candidate for Westbrook first selectman and my late entry is due to the number of residents who finally convinced me change in Westbrook is necessary.

There is a strong feeling of political malaise in our town with the series of dubious projects and hidden political agendas resulting in the failed draconian blight ordinance proposal, a massively expensive parking lot construction for empty stores, and dwindling public participation in town meeting and public affairs.

I have lived in Westbrook for more than 20 years and my children went to school here. I am a retired State Police sergeant and former chief of police who worked primarily in administering police operations both state and local including supervision of up to 50 people and millions in budgets and various state grants.

My years of public service has taught me to listen carefully, talk calmly, and act only after investigating.

Westbrook is stagnating; school population is dropping, stores are empty, and taxes are climbing. It’s time for change.
