As residents of Branford, the former pastor, and associate ministers of St. Stephen’s African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church for 19 years, my family members and I have come to know Roberta Gill-Brooks and the entire Gill family. They are pillar members of the church, and have made many contributions to the Branford community.

Roberta Gill-Brooks grew up in Branford and has been nurtured in the church from childhood to adulthood, and had grown into becoming the director of Christian education, and an officer of the St. Stephen’s Townhouse Committee.

Roberta is a warm and caring person. She is well-qualified and has integrity. She has always wanted to do the job right, or not do it at all. I agree that “Where there’s a Gill, there’s way!”
