Visionary and Proactive

I support Cathy Iino for first selectman of Killingworth. In my volunteer roles as co-director of the town’s food pantry and as treasurer of another community organization, I have seen firsthand how visionary and proactive she is.

Cathy is a capable manager of the variety of tasks that come under her responsibility. She has improved communication between Town Hall and residents enormously. She actively pursues opportunities to save the town and the town’s organizations money, whether through grant applications or plain fiscal responsibility with a view toward long-range effects. She asks insightful questions at meetings, and backs all of this up by working hard over long hours.

Our town is better for her having been our first selectman, and it will be even better under her continued guidance.
