Transparency All Around

Allow me to inform you my fellow residents whom I have decided to support for mayor. The candidate I am endorsing has been a resident of East Haven for 52 years; he raised his family here and currently resides with his wife, Joan. He is a highly successful businessman and owns and operates South Shore Laundry on Coe Avenue. He was previously a former director of credit services for a large paper mill in state. He has 40 years in accounting, accounts payable, and tax preparation experience; he is more than qualified to take on the financial state of East Haven.

He has been: an elected member of the Board of Finance, 2011-2014; member of the East Haven Democratic Committee; president and member of the East Haven Rotary Club; and member of the East Haven Shoreline Greenway Trail Committee, the East Haven Historical Society, and the East Haven Chamber of Commerce.

A few of his plans to improve East Haven’s future include addressing public safety issues; providing equal education for our children; maximizing and improving the towns roads, beaches, equipment, and buildings; and always facilitating an open dialogue with parents and educators, with transparency all around.

He has released a plan that would be of tremendous value to East Haven’s aging population as among its key features seniors would realize potential huge tax savings that would allow them to have more in-pocket income with which to budget and improve their quality of life.

Electing this candidate has a tremendous upside as he will bring integrity and character to the mayor’s office.

I’m proudly voting Sal Maltese for mayor on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
