Not Afraid to Challenge

I met Scott Murphy seven years ago on a baseball field (not surprising). His enthusiasm for kids to enjoy our nation’s pastime made me want to be involved in Madison Little League. I worked closely with Scott on the Little League board for four years where I witnessed his constant desire to ensure that everything we set out to accomplish was done in the best interest of the children. He also surrounded himself with a very strong Little League board and, in doing so, took Madison Little League to new heights.

Until two years ago, I had never attended a Madison Board of Selectmen Meeting. It was upon Scott’s request that I attended a meeting to support an important issue that affected our young players. I have attended several meetings since Scott became a selectman. It was at these meetings that I witnessed, once again, Scott’s passion to do the right thing. Scott stands strong to his commitments and is not afraid to challenge fellow board members in the best interest of our townspeople.

I encourage your readers to join me in supporting Scott Murphy as a Madison selectman.
