Knowledge, Expertise, and Skills

I would like to encourage North Haven residents to vote for Alan Sturtz as our first selectman. Because he has the knowledge, expertise, and skills, Alan will effectively lead us going forward.

Alan brings to the table specific skills designed to implement a town planning process that will incorporate the needs of all of our citizens. We need someone who has the ability to reach consensus by working successfully with diverse groups of residents within our community. Alan’s work in higher education using data analytics for overall comprehensive planning for nearly 40 years will bring great value to North Haven’s town administration. He has the capability of managing North Haven’s complex administrative and financial needs.

Alan and his family have been residents of North Haven for more than 25 years. He and his wife June have been active in the community, including his successful tenure as Ridge Road School PTA president. And in service to the town, Alan successfully fulfilled the role of tax collector/town clerk, accomplishing a high rate of tax collection by strategically improving the administrative process of collection. Alan also developed strong relationships working closely with North Haven residents and folks serving in various town departments.

We can be confident that the future needs of the town, including adequate town services and strategic budget planning, will be the driving force behind a Sturtz administration. I encourage your readers to vote Row A on Nov. 7.
