Keep Moving Forward

I am encouraging voters from Essex to support Norman Needleman and Stacia Rice Libby for the Board of Selectmen, on Tuesday, Nov. 7. Both are the proven leaders of a well functioning representative town government.

I saw firsthand how partisan bickering and putting off obligations has harmed our state when I was in the legislature. I wish I could have had a better effect at changing this. I am proud to live in a town where people put side their differences to contribute to the betterment of all. This is what these leaders are all about, giving common-sense, practical solutions that keep our town financially solid, where we keep up with infrastructure needs, and where our terrific schools help our young people succeed.

I am also supporting Jim Francis, our superb town treasurer, and Ethan Goller for Board of Finance. Kate Sandmann and Loretta McCluskey for our school boards, and Jeanine Lewis for probate judge are all excellent choices, too.

Every two years, we have the privilege to vote to keep our town moving forward. I encourage the voters of Ivoryton, Centerbrook, and Essex to support this slate of candidates, so we can keep Essex moving forward.
