Honest, Pragmatic, and Hopeful

I write in strong support of Lou Federici as a candidate for the office of selectman. I have looked at the perspectives and agendas of the various candidates in the upcoming elections and no one is more qualified to serve than Lou. He already has a long and extensive record of being a leader in serving his community.

I have known Lou as a long time, very active Rotarian who garnered the respect of the club to become president of the Guilford Rotary. It is not an easy task to meld the thoughts and efforts of 70-plus business people into a cohesive organization. Lou did it with ease.

He has recognized problems outside out community as well, being the president of the Board of Directors of New Haven Home Recovery. He has served on the Guilford Board of Finance and has a keen sense of finances and issue facing Guilford. He has an honest, pragmatic, and hopeful insight into our community’s problems and needs. He has always been willing to examine the issues and listen closely to the public’s questions and concerns. He is a successful attorney and can bring a wealth of knowledge and a terrific dynamic to the table.

And if this isn’t enough to convince voters, he has a been involved as a leader in the Boy Scouts from scoutmaster to member of the executive board of the regional council. The man has a good moral compass. This one is a no-brainer. We would be lucky to have him serve as a selectman in our town. I encourage your readers to join with me in voting for Lou Federici
