My name is Peter Niles and I am the chairman of the Board of Police Commissioners for our Town of Clinton. Ed Tessman is a current member of the Police Commission and is running for re-election. Working alongside Ed these past few years has allowed me to see firsthand his honest, ethical decision-making on some difficult issues. I want you to know that Ed’s service to the Police Commission has been very valuable to our community.

As a resident of Clinton for more than 20 years, he knows our town and what our public safety issues are. Ed strongly supports community policing, which is to serve the community and to protect the public. That is central to what our law enforcement officers do. That is what Ed Tessman does. I’m voting to re-elect Ed Tessman to the Police Commission and I hope your readers do, too.

Peter R. Niles
