Dedication, Commitment, and Trustworthiness

This letter is to express my support for the candidacy of Emily Rosenthal for the Board of Education. I have known Emily for several years now and I can attest to her dedication, commitment, and trustworthiness as a leader for our schools and town.

Emily has valuable work experience in higher education and administration at Southern Connecticut State University and Harvard University. She is an active member in the community and is a very involved parent with a child in Madison’s Public Schools and a child in preschool. Additionally, she is an engaged citizen in the Board of Education, Board of Finance, and Board of Selectman meetings tackling the long- term district’s facilities plan for our elementary schools.

Emily treats all people respectfully and has the ability to listen to and appreciate various perspectives. She cares deeply about the quality of education for all students. Emily is enthusiastic about our schools and town and has a deep understanding of the issues that our schools are facing.
