Can Stand Tall

As an active volunteer in Westbrook for several decades, I have worked with many first selectpersons. For the past 10-plus years, I have had the pleasure of working with Noel Bishop. Noel has always been fair, graceful, and honest. He takes the time to respectfully listen to all sides of a particular topic before he renders a decision. Though I haven’t always agreed on his decisions, he has always been patient and respectful. In today’s polarized society, I have always felt that he worked diligently to find a compromise and achieve an acceptable decision for all.

Secondly, I encourage everyone to support Tony Cozza, who is running for the Board of Finance. Though I have only worked with Tony for a couple of years, I find him to be very informed and accurate in financial matters. He brings a different perspective to the Board of Finance, in a very positive way.

Finally, I encourage your readers’ support in my re-election to the Board of Finance. I am very proud of our administration’s successes in having a town with a strong financial base. In light of all the problems in Hartford, Westbrook can stand tall in having the financial management to weather the uncertainties in our state government. We have improved all town facilities, have proper budgeting policies in place for future projects, and are not desperate for funding from the state, as many communities are. We have increased town services to the public, and some examples are our land use department, social services and senior center.

I encourage your readers to support me and my fellow Republicans.
