Can Be Counted On

As a father of four children, three currently enrolled in the Madison Public School System, I am confidently voting for Jessica Bowler in her re-election bid for the Board of Education. She has served the last four years, and will befittingly serve the next four years, during a challenging time with respect to Connecticut’s financial woes.

Jessica strikes a keen balance in being fiscally conservative, managing issues involving the declining enrollment, and continuing to move our district forward educationally during these difficult times. Whilst the reasons people move to Madison are many, the schools are often chief among them. Jessica has helped, and will continue to strive, to keep our schools very competitive.

While we most certainly will continue to have challenging budgets ahead of us, coupled with the inevitability of updating our schools, Jessica will continue to tackle these issues head-on and arrive at the most responsible solutions for our community. Jessica can be counted on to make thoughtful decisions with our limited resources. I know how hard Jessica has worked for our schools and children over the last four years and I want her to continue this work over the next four years, for all of us.
