A Forward-Looking Perspective

My family has lived in Old Saybrook for more than 40 years, and we have always been proud to call it home. We enjoy the beauty and vibrancy of the town and appreciate the positive changes the town has made over the years, all while maintaining Old Saybrook’s distinct character. Since our grandchildren will soon enter the Old Saybrook school system, we hope the town will continue to make wise decisions. Therefore, I am very pleased to endorse Trevor Ladd as a candidate for the Planning Commission on the Democratic ticket.

We have known Trevor for 30 years and believe he will be an asset to our community’s future in important decision-making processes. As a thoughtful and intelligent man who understands and cares about Old Saybrook, Trevor knows the importance of preserving the character that makes Old Saybrook so special. Trevor grew up in Old Saybrook before leaving to pursue a marketing degree at Springfield College. After living in North Carolina for a time, he decided that Old Saybrook was the perfect place to raise a family. Trevor and his lovely wife, Brittany, recently purchased their first home here.

We are confident that Trevor will offer a forward-looking perspective to the Planning Commission and will make decisions to preserve and improve the Old Saybrook that we all know and love. Trevor has made many positive connections to the town over the years he has lived here, and he and his family are invested in its future. This makes Trevor an ideal candidate for the Planning Commission. I encourage your readers to join me in voting for Trevor Ladd for on Nov. 7.
