Your readers’ votes are important this Nov. 7. The Republican slate, led by First Selectman Tom Banisch, has a great mix of experienced and new candidates for office. This team will bring the best of the current programs to fulfillment, modify those that need to be changed, and provide the direction for the future.

The Banisch team is well aware of the potential fiscal crisis for our town and our schools brought on by our state government. The Republican team is prepared to deal with them in cooperation with our neighboring towns as appropriate.

Let’s keep Madison as a great place to live, work, and play along the shoreline. I encourage your readers to vote for the Republican team on Nov. 7.
