We Can’t Rest Easy

In regards to Nicole Penta’s Oct. 12 letter “Twisting Facts,” please see the statement of the Board of Education’s acting superintendent in the same Courier issue [“Questions Arise Regarding BOE’s Business Manager”]. Erica Forti requested a scary forensic audit be performed. I can only assume she has a good reason to request such a scary, as well as costly, task be performed and I respectfully suggest Ms. Penta read the article.

As for the auditors that believe we can rest easy, we can’t. I also would suggest we get new auditors; they may have missed other items that should be of concern
