Shielded from the Worst

On Nov. 7, I will be voting for Carl Fortuna for first selectman, Scott Giegerich for selectman, and Bob Fish for treasurer. I have known Carl for about 10 years and have found him to be approachable and knowledgeable about all that goes on in town, and what might potentially affect our town from the State of Connecticut.

Old Saybrook is clearly a gem, a town that is run very well and that is attributable to the leadership of the town. I have family in town and we all know what a disaster the state is, but feel like Old Saybrook has been shielded from the worst. Our town management has done its job. Carl, Scott, and Bob deserve to be re-elected. I encourage your readers to vote for them on Nov. 7.
