Put the Taxpayer First

As we witness Governor Dannel Malloy’s mismanagement of our state’s finances and his continued push to pass state costs onto municipalities, it is important to have a Board of Finance ready and able to handle those hurdles. This is why I am supporting Paul Carver, David LaMay, and Breck Lindley for Board of Finance.

David and Breck currently sit on the board and have seamlessly guided the town through the loss of state funding and worked to ensure our mill rate stays one of the lowest in the state. Paul Carver would be a welcome addition to the team with his many years of government service to both New Britain and Old Saybrook.

I feel more than comfortable that all three will continue to put the taxpayer first in our town as Malloy continues to put the taxpayer last in our state. I encourage your readers to vote Carver, LaMay, and Lindley for experience and continued responsibility.
