Has It All

It’s with great conviction that I endorse Veronica Wallace for the Guilford Board of Finance. Veronica was born and raised in Guilford and graduated from Guilford High School. She has spent her adult life giving back to the town that she loves.

Veronica served on the Guilford Board of Selectman from 2005 to 2013. She served on the Marina Commission for more than 20 years including two terms as chair. Veronica has served as co-chair of Guilford’s 375th Anniversary Committee and as the chair of the Guilford Democratic Town Committee.

In 2008-’09 the country suffered the worst economic turndown since the Great Depression. Veronica worked with her colleagues from both sides of the aisle to craft budgets that served the Town of Guilford. There were difficult decisions made then. We can count on Veronica Wallace to make the difficult decisions that confront us all now.

Veronica is the leader to whom I would look to consider the needs of all our citizens when determining what is fiscally best for Guilford. She is the candidate on whom I would rely to make the tough decisions, to judge fairly, and to judge logically. Experience. Leadership skills. Consensus builder. Lifetime Guilford resident. She has it all and will take care to preserve our quality of life.

I have no doubt in my mind as I make this statement. Veronica Wallace is the candidate that we all need to serve us on the Guilford Board of Finance now.
