Enthusiasm and Boundless Optimism

In the 52 years that I have been a resident of North Haven, I have never experienced a better first selectman than Mike Freda. During his administration’s tenure, we have seen Mike’s enthusiasm and boundless optimism implement seven years of fiscally responsible balanced budgets, continual support for our education system, and sustained municipal services during difficult economic times.

Using a hands-on approach, Mike has demonstrated his role as North Haven’s prime driving force for economic development. An example of Mike’s relentless drive is the delivery of the Amazon distribution center to the former Pratt & Whitney site. This economic growth achievement is only one of many that Mike has developed and nurtured during his four terms as first selectman.

Mike has always been a strong supporter of our Police and Fire departments and has worked with the Board of Finance to find the necessary funds to ensure that our public safety personnel are provided the tools they require to effectively serve North Haven residents.

Mike’s proven record with a promise of more of the same, combined with the respect from government leaders of all parties throughout the state, are the reasons I am proud to endorse Mike Freda for another term as first selectman of North Haven.
