Approachable, Reasonable, and Responsive

As a former chair of the Town of Old Saybrook Ethics Commission, it is a pleasure to endorse Stephen Sheehan and encourage fellow residents to vote for him on Nov. 7 for first selectman for the Town of Old Saybrook.

During my professional relationship with Steve, he has proven to be intelligent, professional, and extremely easy to work with.

Steve has demonstrated his commitment to Old Saybrook through extensive elective and volunteer activities. He has been elected to the Board of Tax Review and the Old Saybrook Zoning Board of Appeals. He was appointed to the Old Saybrook Pension and Benefits Board, serving for 20 years. He helped form numerous non-profits at no cost including the Old Saybrook High School Boosters Athletic Club, Inc., and Old Saybrook Babe Ruth, Inc. He has coached Little League and soccer.

Since 1988 Steve has lived in Old Saybrook with his wile and three children. He is a partner with his wife in their law firm of Sheehan & Sheehan, LLC.

Steve is approachable, reasonable, and responsive. I am impressed with Steve’s ability to foster cooperation by discussing issues in a respectful way that emphasizes teamwork and mutual understanding.

I encourage your readers to vote for Stephen R. Sheehan for first selectman on Nov. 7.
