Able to See All Sides

I wish to express my public support and endorsement for Derek Phelps who is running for the office of RSD17 Board of Education representing Killingworth.

Derek has served in a variety of elected and appointed positions in state and local government. He’s also a U.S. Navy veteran. I know him to be well-versed on a wide array of public policy matters and able to see all sides of the complicated issues that we often face in town government. I also know that he is a hard working community volunteer.

He is well-educated and has a wonderful family, including a daughter who is an Honors student at HK High School. He’d make a great addition to the Board of Education and I will be voting for him on Nov. 7. I encourage my friends to do so as well.
